1. Connecting Make with Google Sheets

Follow these simple steps to connect Make with Google Sheets:

Step 1:
Log into your Make account. On the left menu, select Scenario, then click the purple "+" icon in the top-right corner and choose Build from Scratch.

Step 2:
Click the large "+" icon, select Google Sheets, and choose any action to add a module to your scenario. For example, select Add a Row.

Step 3:
A dialog box will appear. Select Create a Connection to connect Make with Google Sheets.

Step 4:
Click Sign in with Google and log into your Google account.

2. Connecting Make with Gmail

For Google Workspace Accounts

The process is similar to connecting Google Sheets:

Log into Make, navigate to the left menu, and select Scenario. Click the purple "+" icon in the top-right corner and choose Build from Scratch.

Add a Gmail module (e.g., Watch Emails) to your scenario by clicking the large "+" icon.

Click Sign in with Google and log into your Google account.

For Regular Google Accounts

Create a New Project in Google Cloud Console

Log in to Google Cloud Console, select Create or Select a Project, then click New Project.

Name your project, select a location, and click Create.

Enable Gmail API

Navigate to your project’s dashboard, go to APIs & Services, and select Library.

Configure OAuth Consent Screen

Go to OAuth Consent Screen under APIs & Services. Choose External for the User Type, then click Create.

Fill in App Information: Add "Make" as the App Name and your email as the User Support Email.

In Authorized Domains, add make.com and integromat.com.

Add your email to Developer Contact Information.

Save and continue for all remaining steps.

Create Gmail Client Credentials

In APIs & Services, go to Credentials and select Create Credentials > OAuth Client ID.

Choose Web Application for the Application Type.
Name it "Make."
Add this URL to Authorized Redirect URIs: https://www.integromat.com/oauth/cb/google-restricted/.

Click Create, then copy the Client ID and Client Secret for later use.

Publish your app in the OAuth Consent Screen section.

Connect to Make.com
In Make, follow steps 1–3 as above. In the Create a Connection dialog box, click Show Advanced Settings.

Enter your Client ID and Client Secret, then click Sign in with Google to complete the connection.

3. Connecting Make with Slack

Once connected to Google Sheets and Gmail, you can link Make with Slack as follows:

Step 1:
Create a new app in Slack. Go to Your Apps in Slack, select Create App, and choose From Scratch.

Name the app, select your workspace, and click Create App.

Step 2:
Save the Client ID and Client Secret from the App Credentials section.

Step 3:
Add Make’s redirect URL in Slack. Under OAuth & Permissions, find Redirect URLs and add this URL:
https://www.integromat.com/oauth/cb/slack2
Click Save URLs.

Step 4:
Add OAuth Scopes. In Scopes, under User Token Scopes, click Add an OAuth Scope and select the scope required for your action. For example, to get a file, add files:read. Refer to Make’s documentation for a full list of scopes.

Step 5:
Connect with Make. In Make, create a Slack module like the others. Choose the appropriate action (e.g., Get a File), enter your Client ID and Client Secret, and click Save.
