Scheduling is a crucial step in creating automated workflows in Make.com, ensuring your scenarios run at the right time. This guide will walk you through how to set up timing for your workflows, from simple to advanced setups, providing flexibility for all your business needs.

Scheduling is the final but most crucial step in implementing workflows on Make.com. It ensures your workflows run at the right time and align with your work needs.
Using Make.com's scheduling options, you can decide whether a workflow runs only once or repeatedly at a frequency and time of your choice.
For example, consider a common scenario with two modules: when a new email arrives in Gmail, Make.com saves the information in Google Sheets for easy tracking.

In this scenario, the Gmail module acts as the trigger, marked with a small clock icon in the corner.
You can configure this scenario to run once daily, every four hours, or twice weekly—providing great flexibility.
In the next section, we’ll explore the steps for basic and advanced scheduling of scenarios in Make.com.
To set up a simple schedule for a scenario, click on Every 15 minutes next to the Run Once button.

A Schedule Settings window will appear, allowing you to configure the scenario to run automatically by hour, day, month, or other intervals.

In the Run scenario dropdown, you’ll find the following options:

For this example, we’ll use the default At regular intervals option.
In the Minutes field below, set the interval to 60, meaning the scenario will repeat every hour.

Once you’ve configured the settings, click OK to finalize.
Open the Make.com scenario you want to schedule and click the small clock icon in the corner of the trigger (e.g., the Gmail module in this case).

In the Schedule Settings window, select At regular intervals and set the interval to 60 minutes (1 hour).

Scroll down to the Advanced Scheduling section and click Add item.
The Schedule Settings window will expand, showing Item 1, where you can fine-tune the schedule.

Time from: Specify the start time for the scenario (e.g., 9:05 AM).

Time to: Specify the end time (e.g., 5:00 PM).

Days: Choose the specific days to run the scenario (e.g., Monday and Wednesday).
Months: Select the months during which the scenario will run (e.g., all months for a year-round schedule).
Click OK to save the settings.

For example, this setup schedules the scenario to run every hour between 9:05 AM and 5:00 PM on Mondays and Wednesdays.
With Schedule Settings, you can customize workflows to run down to the minute, hour, day, month, and year.
Make.com’s flexible scheduling options allow you to tailor workflow schedules to your specific needs and work requirements. With these tools, you can optimize your workflows for maximum efficiency and accuracy.
