If desired, you can use Zoho Survey results as a "trigger" to automate processes in Zoho CRM, such as sending thank-you emails, scheduling customer calls, or assigning tasks to employees.
The integration of Zoho Survey data with Zoho CRM information also enables a more comprehensive customer analysis, generating detailed reports to support smart and effective business decisions. Below, we will guide you through the step-by-step process of connecting Zoho CRM with Zoho Survey in detail!
To integrate surveys from Zoho Survey into Zoho CRM, follow these steps:
First, ensure that you have accounts in both Zoho Survey and Zoho CRM and log in to configure synchronization settings.
Go to Zoho Survey, select the "Hub" tab from the top menu → choose "Integrations" → Click the "Integrate" button in the Zoho CRM section.

Zoho Survey will display an error message because you have not yet connected to Zoho CRM. To resolve this, click "Setup - Apps and Services" in the error message.

In the new window that appears, click "Connect" under Zoho CRM.

Zoho will ask which environment you want to connect to. "Sandbox" is a test environment, so you can skip it. Click "Connect" under "Production" – the production environment.

Note that Zoho CRM must contain data; otherwise, an error will occur. If the connection is successful, you will see a confirmation message.

Close all windows and return to the "Integrate" section in the first step above → click "Integrate" again in the Zoho CRM section → Select the connected environment → Click "Next."
Zoho Survey will then ask which module in Zoho CRM you want to connect to.

In this example, we select the first module, "Leads," → Click "Next" to continue.
In the next step, Zoho Survey will ask you to synchronize data with Zoho CRM.

There are three options for synchronizing survey responses with Zoho CRM:
We will leave the default option as "Add record."
Next, map survey data to Zoho CRM. You will see that each question has been labeled for easy identification, such as Question 1, Question 2. Each question is linked to specific information as illustrated.

Scroll down further, and you will see the option "Include each individual response as a PDF in the Zoho CRM record while syncing." You can select or skip this option as needed.

Once the configuration is complete, click "Save" to finish.
Zoho Survey will notify you that the connection and synchronization with Zoho CRM have been successfully set up. Additionally, a new button labeled "CRM Sync Status" will appear in the top menu. Click here to monitor and manage synchronized data between the two platforms.
